"SNOW EMERGENCY:
A snow emergency continues to be in effect and winter parking rules are still being strictly enforced until the snow emergency is lifted. To avoid getting a ticket or being towed on streets with restrictions, you must stay off the streets until the snow emergency has been lifted. We have not designated an end of the snow emergency yet but will give ample notice via CodeRED, Facebook, Twitter, email and press releases to our local media outlets.

Your vehicles will continue to remain in the (seven) locations (Early Learning Center, Beebe, Forestdale, Ferryway, Linden and Salemwood Schools and downtown at the CBD Garage) without being ticketed or towed until the snow emergency has been lifted.

SHOVELING:
We are still in an active snow removal operation so please be careful of plows still actively on the roads. Do not assume they can see you! When beginning the snow removal on your own property, please keep in mind that our city ordinances specify two important things. 1. Within 24 hours from the end of the storm, you must clear at least a 36-inch wide path on the sidewalk in front of your property. 2. You are prohibited from throwing snow onto city streets, public property or walkways. Both of these rules will be strictly enforced and fines can range from $25 to $200.
