Malden May See More Than a Foot of Snow

Here are five things to know for Thursday, Jan. 2 in Malden:

1. The city may get hit with 10-14 inches of snow Thursday into Friday, according to the National Weather Service's forecast for Malden. 

2. There will be no school for students of Malden Public Schools on Thursday and Friday.

3. Malden declared a snow emergency that takes effect at noon on Thursday.

4. The Malden Teen Center will be closed on Thursday and Friday.

5. The Senior Center, City Hall and Public Library will close at 4 p.m. Thursday and all day Friday.
