Maldonian: Cars Broken into Overnight in Malden

There were multiple breaking and entering into vehicles in the Gilbert Street area sometime Monday night into Tuesday morning, according to a Malden Patch reader.

"There were multiple car break-ins on and around Gilbert Street (near Forestdale, off Sylvan) last night or early this (morning)," reads the message from the Maldonian man. "If you could just please post about it so people are locking their doors/keeping valuables in their houses ... They got my mom's car and a few neighbors'."

Malden Patch called and left a voicemail with Malden police on Wednesday, but it has yet to be returned. We'll post an update as soon as we receive additional information from police.
