Nick Cohen, Neighbor

Nick Cohen serves as the Environmental Justice Community Organizing Coordinator for Tri-City Community Action Program, Inc. (Tri-CAP) as part of the nine-organization Mystic River Watershed Collaborative.  In that role, Nick strives to raise community awareness and capacity around environmental justice issues related to the Mystic River Watershed, especially those issues that disproportionately affect low‐income, newly‐arrived, and minority residents in Everett, Malden and Medford. Much of Nick’s work focuses on project-based education and organizing, especially with youth.   His other previous environmental experience includes projects in the areas of municipal planning, watershed management, land conservation, and ecological restoration.  He received his B.A. cum laude in Environmental Studies and Spanish.
