This is the 1st I have heard about this. "Controversial yet true comments" (?) hmmm I have read some pretty wacky comments here. I can say with a straight face that everything I print is true. Sorry about your comments getting deleted. But the bottom line with the old Maplewood Fire Station is if the city wanted to stay they should of kept the building up and not let it get so bad over the years. It was not much better when they sold it to the school in the 1st place. As far as the weathervane goes, as I have said in the past if the city wanted it they should of removed it before the sold it to the school. It is the property of the school. So, unless somebody besides the school has it it's not stolen. Take care Joe

Hi Marc, Supposedly negative comments on this fire station topic are being deleted, quickly. Today, an earlier response to me on this topic was purged. Oh well. Controversial yet true comments are going elsewhere from the Patch. Only happy news now.
