The Year's Top 5 Stories: A Tragic Loss, Police Shooting & Baseball

YEAR IN REVIEW: Crime stories captured our reader's attention this year, as did the passing of a popular high school staffer and a proposal to build a minor league baseball park in Malden.

It's that time of year again.
