Alleged Teen Shooter Arraigned in Malden Court
Tyrell Berberena, Jr., 17 faces charges of armed assault with intent to murder, aggravated assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and carrying a loaded firearm without a license. He was held pending a dangerous hearing.
The 17-year-old arrested in connection with Monday's shooting of another 17-year-old near Warren Street was arraigned in Malden District Court on Tuesday morning, according to the Middlesex District Attorney's Office. Tyrell Berberena, Jr., 17 of Malden, was arraigned on charges of armed assault with intent to murder, aggravated assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and carrying a loaded firearm without a license, according to a press release from the DA's Office. Malden District Court Judge Dominic Paratore ordered Berberena held pending a dangerousness hearing scheduled for this Friday. DA: Teen Shooting Suspect Arranged to Meet With Victim
Tyrell Berberena, Jr., 17 of Malden, faces charges of armed assault to murder and possession of a large capacity firearm.
The 17-year-old arrested in connection with Monday's shooting of another 17-year-old near Warren Street allegedly knew the victim and had arranged to meet when the shooting happened, according to the Middlesex District Attorney's Office. Malden Police arrested Tyrell Berberena, Jr., after the shooting, according to a press release from the DA's Office. Malden Police have arrested a suspect allegedly involved in the shooting.
