Veterans Day Parade, Ceremony This Sunday

Click "Upload Photos and Videos" to honor them above.  Ready for Veterans Day?  The city's annual holiday services will begin at 9 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 11 starting at 9 a.m. in front of the American Legion Post #69 at 368 Pleasant St.  The parade will begin at 10 a.m., marching east onto Pleasant St., turning left onto Summer St., then turning right and walking toward the end of Mountain Ave.  The parade will continue onto Mt. Vernon St., and then to Salem St., where it will end near the High School and new Teen Enrichment Center.  The parade will pause at the 11th minute of the 11th hour, for a reflection of all of the nation's veterans. PHOTOS: Malden Veterans Day Parade

The American Legion honors veterans in a Friday morning parade.

Malden's American Legion Malden Post No. 69 organized a memorial service and parade through downtown Malden Friday morning, honoring the memory of the nation's service members.

VIDEO: Malden-based Band Uses CD Release Party to Raise Money for Veterans

Adam Ezra group's Friday night show will support a Cape Cod veteran killed in the bloodiest day in Afghanistan.

The following was submitted by Adam Ezra.  The Malden based Adam Ezra Group heads to the Brighton Music Hall (158 Brighton Ave, Allston) to officially release their much anticipated album, "Ragtop Angel" this Friday night at 8 p.m. The CD is their debut on Royal Avenue Records and was produced by multiplatinum producer Aaron Johnson, best known for his work with The Fray.  Having toured with Rusted Root, The Avett Brothers, Jason Mraz, The Goo Goo Dolls, Blues Traveler, Los Lobos, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Dwight Yoakam, and more, the Adam Ezra Group has graduated from the local Boston scene to the national level.
