Yard Waste Pick-Up Starts Today
Next month the city will begin picking up yard waste twice a month, except for August and December where it is only picked up once.
The warm weather this week may have caused you to start cleaning up your yard, but you'll have to wait a few weeks before the city will pick up your bagged leaves curbside. All yard waste must be put into brown paper yard waste bags and put out along with your regular trash. No plastic bags are accepted. Residents can also bring yard waste to the Department of Public Works at 356 Commercial Street between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday and between 8 a.m. and noon on Saturday.
