Large pallets of roofing material were hoisted up onto the Malden Library roof early Monday morning. Workers delivering the material shortly after 7 a.m. said it was insulation material.
If you're planning on heading to the library Thursday morning beware: Park Street is closed for tree trimming.
Park Street was expected to be closed for most of the morning Thursday as crews worked to trim tree branches away from power lines.

I just found the Patch today! I think it's great and will be checking in more often. I orginally lived in Malden in '49 thru early '50's, but my family moved. I've returned and have been a resident for 2 -1/2 years. Got on-line in May 2012, and have been surfing around. Glad I found the Patch. Maybe I'll be contributing in the future.
