Malden Woman Injured When Tanker Jackknifes on Mass Pike

The Tuesday afternoon crash closed the Mass Pike westbound for about an hour.

Massachusetts State Police are investigating multiple car crash on the Massachusetts Turnpike westbound in Framingham Tuesday about 3 p.m., in which a tanker jackknifed and a car became lodged underneath the tanker. Preliminary reports from Trooper Thomas McCarthy indicate a 2011 Honda Pilot was travelling in the left travel lane when, for reasons yet to be determined, drifted over into the breakdown lane. The truck struck the guardrail, coming back across the roadway and striking the right side of a 2006 Western Star tanker trailer, according to State Police.  The collision caused the tanker trailer to jackknife, blocking all three travel lanes, said a State Police release. PHOTOS: Car Crashes into Eastern Ave. Garage

The car nearly came out of the other side of the building at 804 Eastern Ave. Monday afternoon.

A car went through a closed garage door in an Eastern Avenue storefront Tuesday afternoon and nearly broke through the other side. A lower portion of garage door, located at 804 Eastern Ave., was completely broken off of the frame just after 2 p.m. Monday. A wall on the other side was structurally damaged.  Medical responders were seen bringing a man on a stretcher into an ambulance, though his condition was not immediately available.

Car Crashes into House on Eastern Avenue, Driver Taken to Hospital

The driver suffered injuries that were not life threatening, and two passengers were taken into protective custody.

A car crashed into a house at the intersection of Route 60 (Eastern Avenue) and Bellvale Street in Malden Friday night. The accident happened at approximately 7:50 p.m., according to Lt. David Chalmers of the Malden Police Department. A "car went right into a house," he said. "It did go right into the building." The driver of the car was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life threatening, said Chalmers. Two passengers were taken into protective custody where they could be monitored because they were possibly intoxicated, Chalmers said. A building inspector reported to the scene of the accident to assess structural damage at the house, said the police lieutenant, adding that information was still "preliminary." As of 10:30 p.m…
