Richard, you have done a great public service. Any time any one in this town is sad, or feels thatRead More their life is boring or empty, they can visit this link and remind themselves that their lives are nowhere NEAR as boring and empty as yours.
EW April 24, 2014 at 03:52 pm
Seriously! Get a life, at least those people are most likely going to work! Maybe you should tryRead More it!
Julie the Jarhead April 24, 2014 at 04:52 pm
I'm torn on this. On the one side, so long as there are still plenty of spaces for shoppers, I haveRead More no problem with it. Besides, it's up to Stop & Shop to enforce this. On the other hand, these people should obey the rules. It's private property, not their personal parking lot. Like I said, I'm on the fence about this.

@Gerson Goldstein You can say God in school, just like the Klan can say what they wish. SchoolsRead More can't force God on kids. You don't seem to understand the 1st Amendment.
J Leland April 24, 2014 at 03:15 pm
KKK breaks into a few homes and then comes to the rescue. An age old strategy.

How do you really know they are up? They could be sleeping underneath those capes. I would thinkRead More you would wear something more scary like a Michael Myers of Leatherface mask, thought would work better I would think.

The Massachusetts Democratic "Party " is having a ball destroying the lives of the windRead More turbine victims. How about saying a prayer for the victims and pass it along ? Our Father, Who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Frank what about the Portsmouth wind turbine it failed after 5 years and the taxpayers are still onRead More the hook for the 3 million bond.

Here's a great option for paying it forward! Help a little boy's family pay for his new dog'sRead More surgery. http://www.petcaring.com/pet-medical-expenses/a-boy-and-his-dog-need-you/37800 P.S. I'm pretty sure public whining is considered paying it backward, and not forward.

Now that is something. Imagine how big this baby will be in a couple of years. He probably won'tRead More even fit through a regular door!
Alison McArty April 24, 2014 at 11:35 am
Sunny do you have any scientific information whatsoever to back up your asinine comment?

Thank you Alison I was thinking the same thing....

"mystuy" -- Why you poor thing, you must be feeling terrible & it's all white people'sRead More fault for not giving you more freebies of all kinds & not feeling guilty as hell about all your failings.
bg robbins April 24, 2014 at 05:08 pm
You would feel better and see clearer with a little acceptance , love and foregiveness instead of soRead More much anger and revenge.

Personally, I always needed Jelly, instead of Peanut Buttler on my fluffernutter... it was tooRead More sticky otherwise.
Ron Swanson April 23, 2014 at 12:54 pm
Lots of important things going on. One being Russia slowly taking over portions of the UkraineRead More under false pretenses of "protecting Russian speaking residents from aggression by a US backed terrorist regime", and we get stories on peanut butter and fluff.
Waverly Watchdog April 23, 2014 at 03:50 pm
The Fluffernutter SHOULD be the symbol of Massachusetts POLITICIANS at all levels. - - - They wasteRead More time on FLUFF and NUTTERY. - - - But, perhaps, it is not entirely the pols fault. The lapdog media must share part of the blame. - - - A case in point: This stupid story made Patch, but hugely wasteful public works projects and gross public sector union contracts are never mentioned. - - - But the pols know perfectly well they will NEVER be held to account for ANYTHING, because they can distract the media and the public with nonsense like a state sandwich. - - - I think we should have a 'state horses anatomy part'. I leave it to the reader to figure out WHICH part I'd suggest... HINT: Look under the tail.

"How many students at the charter school speak a language at home that's not English?" IRead More suspect that, while it may not be as high a *percentage* as a public school in the same city, the percentage would surprise most, if not all, charter school critics.
Bonnie Parker April 24, 2014 at 12:08 pm
The charter school reports having no ESL kids, which, given local demographics and selectionRead More ostensibly by lottery, I find very surprising indeed.
AnnieOMalden April 24, 2014 at 01:50 pm
It is no wonder the charter school is on this list. The kids who end up at the high school are theRead More cream of the crop. The other kids are weeded out from kindergarten on to get the students needed to score high on tests. Why do you think Neil Kinnon allowed my kids to stay? He put up with me because I gave him what he needed: high test scores from my kids. If your child does not do well, they will be kept back. And kept back. Sooner or later, you will remove that child or have a kid who has been kept back 3 years and no parent wants that. MV gives lip service to Special Ed programs. This designation from the magazine certainly does not take into account the many fine schools in the state who have not made the list. No disrespect to Malden High as they do a great job with the challenges they have. MV has the deck stacked in their favor.

I don't disagree with you that we're becoming less and less a free country but it's wrong to blameRead More democrats alone. It wasn't dems alone that passed the patriot act. It hasn't been dems alone that have been re-uping it since it was passed the first time. On how bad Hillary will be as a president. Every president is bad in some ways. Reagan raised taxes more than a dozen times. Bush took us to war on two fronts with no way to pay for it. Clinton signed DOMA and DADT. Obama gave away the farm in order to get the Affordable Care Act passed. Papa Bush said that atheists shouldn't be considered Americans. Sure Hillary will be a bad president in some ways.... they are all bad in some way. I can tell you this much though, any president is going to be a worse president when the publicly stated goal of the opposition is to obstruct that president at any and all opportunities. The dems did it to Bush. The republican'ts are doing it to Obama. It's like Palestine and Israel, they'll fight to the death out of spite and habit, neither one of them knowing which one threw the first punch and not caring because winning is the only goal. What America needs are citizens that go into government for the good of the country instead of the good of their party.
Michael Hipp April 24, 2014 at 03:03 pm
Oh, one last point on your last post B. Dub. "Hillary presidency combined with a DemocraticRead More Congress." Ain't gonna happen. Republicant's have gerrymandered the states to absolute death. They have the House for the foreseeable future and they have a good chance at getting the Senate. I can't guarantee you who's going to win in 2016 but I can very well guarantee you that no one party will take executive and legislative branches, both.

This is a great article. If your financial institution has guarantees on fraudulent charges and theyRead More try to stick you with the bill or change certain terms and conditions without consideration or notice, make sure you seek legal advice from an attorney. It is very important that you check your credit report annually. You can check your credit report for free on the website mandated under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, which can be found at www.annualcreditreport.com.

Steve Marino, Super Lemming just wanders the Patch sites, probaly following me and making asinineRead More statements (Trolling) to rile people up and then he vanishes. Typical Liberal COWARD.
Matt April 24, 2014 at 02:54 pm
J Parker who do u want to be president?
Steve Marino April 24, 2014 at 03:55 pm
@Matt, any one that runs for president that is a fiscal conservative would be a far better choiceRead More then a candidate like Hillary that has no clue how capitalism works. We don't need more of the same as we have. Increasing the poor, and killing the middle class is not success. We need a complete reversal of policy to get there, not the same policy that we currently have.

Ride the Meat Train just for a small fee you can get your head kicked in. I feel bad for the victimRead More I know what he went through. The MBTA should pay Malden Police to cover the station. It was like that in the old days when I grew up. Boston Cops would cover all the stations when help was needed. The MBTA Police was started in 1968 and never exsisted before that. Each station had a starter and a doorman at each station. There was allways someone at the station as well as two in the train.

this "to me" is not funny, the swat teams are used for serious issues, hostage taking,Read More etc. to have a swat team called to a home behind a video game is stupid, these swat members are trained to save lives, etc. to be called to a home behind a video game is not funny, what happens if a REAL call comes in and swat is needed there, I hope they catch the idiot that called swat and he gets what he/she deserves

with caller ID they should be able to point to the caller. Sorry but an out of state telephoneRead More number should be a tip off.
