Another helpful tip is to soak a few bandanas in water, put them in a plastic bag in the fridge, andRead More then tie one around the pet before going out. It will be cool and wet, which helps with these hot days. When you come in, replace with a fresh one from the fridge.

Great Job people, now to another important issue related.... Mr Mayor, what about the East sideRead More fire station? The one to replace the CLOSED one across from this fire scene, and the one on Lebanon that destroyed a house...? Its been over a year since Maplewood was closed and more than 60 years that this section of the City has waited for a NEW fire station located to serve the East side of the City..... Have another press conference with a photgrapher/videographer, invite Neil and Judy and let the residents of Maplewood and Linden know when, where and how. Lots of fire station building commitees over the years and still no shovel in the ground, why?

Can u get tickets at the door?
Kasey Hariman May 4, 2012 at 06:05 pm
It looks like you can't -- the Mystic Valley Elder Services web site says: "There are only aRead More handful of seats left. To purchase your tickets, call the Development Office at 781-324-7705. Tickets are $50" -- but you'll have to call the Development Office yourself to find out for sure. Maybe they're planning on saving any extra tickets for sales at the door?

I would love to lend a helping hand, unfortunately I cannot be around many people (especiallyRead More children), because of germs, and due to my high white blood count which compromises my immune system which is very low. However, I would like to give a "shout out," to Capt. Joy, and Lt. James Labbe at the Salvation Army for saving our Christmas!! My Daughter got a beautiful winter coat as well as so many gifts that were absolutely perfect for her!! I could not have done a better job if I did it myself!! She made a "Thank you," arts and crafts gift for the Cpt. and the Lt., with some of the arts and crafts supplies that they gave to her, and we are looking forward to stopping by with that very soon!! In the meantime, I have been going around my house and collecting things to donate that are brand new, but that I do not use. They have taught me tha just because you can't or don't use something, doesn't mean that somebody else wouldn't love to have it!! I would like to thank them both, for all they have done for me and my Daughter!! They have truly inspired me. Speaking of inspiration, I would also like to give another "Shout out," to Kasey Hariman for caring enough to make the call to the Salvation Army in the first place, so that I could give my Daughter a good Christmas!! You are all truly amazing people. This experience is something I will keep in my heart forever. Thank you.

The Malden Community is very fortunate to have such committed, caring individuals running our localRead More Salvation Army. On a personal note, the Zonta Club of Malden is very lucky to have Joy as a new member.
