Ride the Meat Train just for a small fee you can get your head kicked in. I feel bad for the victimRead More I know what he went through. The MBTA should pay Malden Police to cover the station. It was like that in the old days when I grew up. Boston Cops would cover all the stations when help was needed. The MBTA Police was started in 1968 and never exsisted before that. Each station had a starter and a doorman at each station. There was allways someone at the station as well as two in the train.

This is great. The ambulance chaser lawyers can't even let the families grieve.

Scott is right. He broke no law and the photos he released were already cleared for not being usedRead More as evidence. I think he deserved punishment but I thought the one week suspension was the right move. To be moved to Athol was a crap move by the State Police or whomever ordered it.

It's too bad that there weren't sequential pictures showing Tsarnaev with a red laser dot on hisRead More head, and then him laying on the ground with his head split open like a dropped melon.

Nothing wrong with showng the photos! Good job Sgt. Too bad they didn't show pictures of American'sRead More with their legs blown off or the people that were killed. They "EXECUTED" an MIT Police Officer! We were all upset and had no sympathy for these 2. Too put his picture on the cover of a magazine is "OUTRAGEOUS"!

That is an extremely cheap azz knife. LOL
Matthew April 16, 2014 at 11:37 am
The price of the knife doesn't change the dangerousness of it.

The spineless rodent who murdered Tyler Zanco is still at large. I would hope that, even inRead More Massachusetts, this takes preference over flippin' shoplifters. If I DO spot one of these hardened criminals in the photos, however, I will immediately call 911, and go into self-imposed lockdown!

David......... First, I'm a retired firefighter. I know all to well the risks I signed up for when IRead More took the job. So does every firefighter. We don't look to be put on pedastals, ever. We do pray everyday to go home safe to our families that's about all we ask for. Do you in your line of work? Doubt it, or you wouldn't have made that comment. Second, "these same "heroes" get arrested for drugs and prostitutes all the time". Really? You obviously only read certain articles that must make you feel like you know what your talking about. Because your an idiot with that train of thought. Generalizing a group of people as all being the same, shows your ignorance even more. Third, if you ever need a firefighter, I hope they don't know how you really feel about them, as you might be surprised a how much help you do get. See becase just like any other group of people, we do have some that could be spiteful, if they know you don't like them. So I'm not kissing anyones ass here pal. God willing you won't have to be kissing one of my fellow brother's ass's, after they save your life someday.
david mokal April 10, 2014 at 06:28 pm
It's THE LAW that you must have a permit. Have been a Welder Boilermaker all my life and never didRead More any work without one. SCAB outfits are doing this everyday using hazard chemicals and welding jobs with out one with no regards to the public. The Fire Dept would have never allowed them to do any welding in those high winds. Dec.7,2010 @ 11;00 PM a spark from somewhere got in my eves where I lost 2 front porches. Wind were at 18 knots from the west. I cant thank the Malden Fire Department enough for saving my house. So like Mathew said you never know when you'll need them. If you see Scab companies out there doing work like welding or even power washing a house next door to you with chemicals report them cause it could be your life thatis in danger.
Matthew April 10, 2014 at 07:18 pm
Thank you David. Finally someone else with just a hint of common since commented. Unreal theseRead More people are here. I suppose the fire I almost died in at a known crackhouse wasn't the crack dealers fault for storing illegal acetylene tanks in there kitchen to produce their crap either right. By the way another fellow firefighter died in that fire. When we lose a brother in a fire it's hard enough to deal with. It makes a lot harder for the families and firefighters to deal with a death when it is out of complete negligance.

John, no especial need I suppose, but I don't feel any especial need not to, either. My right toRead More speak as I like exceeds your right to never be offended, and your god's not the boss of me. That's another nice thing about America.
SPH April 12, 2014 at 09:20 pm
@Bonnie Parker, You couldn't be more wrong in that statement. There are alot of things a person canRead More say to another person and get in alot of trouble. So just keep that in mind, (My right to speak as I like exceeds your right to never be offended,).............. WRONG IN SO MANY WAYS .

A friend of mine thought they saw someone fitting this description on belmont street in brockton,Read More ma. possibly waiting for a ride or the bus, so she didnt call anyone at 1215pm, but when she saw this posting she called the # and they said to call police in brockton, which she did, but they said there was nothing they could since it was hours ago. but possibly he is in brockton area and pray he is found, he appeared shaky.

raymay, nice assumptions you just made. I actually do ride the bus and train 5 days a week to andRead More from work. I do deal with the delays in the winter while waiting outside and ride with all the diverse people. I would be a short walk to the Green Line stop at College Ave, and still don't think it's worth the money. Would be convenient, but as stated above, would rather have the money go to improving the existing system (so we don't have cold and hot weather delays) or to expand in areas much less served than ours. Good day sir.

There isn't a day that goes by that I am not thankful for our firefighters and police. EspeciallyRead More in Easton, where they saved my life, after I was in a horrible car wreck. Very sad every Time I hear one has fallen. This time it's 2! They save us every day and it seems too many folks just take it for granted. Events like this in Boston are very disturbing. God bless these men who ran in to save lives. They had to run in while everyone else had to run out. I hope these men's families are well cared for. If not, then let's make sure they are.
Julie the Jarhead March 30, 2014 at 12:24 pm

So Bosotn Fire just reported that the fire was started by welders working next door at 296 BeaconRead More St. Welders, working without a permit, and no aplication on file for a permit, so no fire detail there during the work being done, on a day with 50mph+ winds. Which I'm sure would not have been allowed on that day had a permit tried to be pulled because of those winds. So our brothers died that day because some company and building owner we're to frigin ignorant to follow laws. Absoulte BULLSHIT.

Matthew March 25, 2014 at 06:59 pm
Hey, empty head..... For starters, your comments here in the past have been regarded by most asRead More insignifigant, inflammatory, and insulting, so your comment means nothing to me. As usual, you have proved you have not a clue to the topic, other than to cause problems. Secondly, Sparkie's are people interested in going to fires when they happen. Not people listening to scanners to keep in touch with the goings on in their city. Third, my life is just fine, thanks for asking, how's your's?
Bobby James March 26, 2014 at 08:21 am
You do know that nobody at Patch is listening to the scanner for Malden, right? They go off of theRead More publicly available police records for these things. So, how about you mosey on down to the MPD and give them an earful about their inaccuracies instead.
Matthew March 26, 2014 at 08:33 am
MPD is not responsible for the inaccuracies. I highly doubt that MPD is going to say that someoneRead More was arrested in the city if they weren't. We have enough arrests that do actually happen in this city to give it a black eye, their not going to add to it. I wouldn't mind but the arresting time is not even correct. Patch is using the time of the 911 call for the original incident. This woman was picked up in Quincy the following morning. MPD has enough to do without worrying about wether Patch is doing their job.
