My neighbors told me that someone was stabbed in Malden This afternoon has anyone heard?? HancockRead More Street?
david mokal July 22, 2014 at 06:13 pm
Nick most of these are just Domestic Assaults and Dedstruction of property. Not bad from what wasRead More happening before Chief Molis took over. I had a good friend who worked the Combat Zone now deceased. He told me he felt safer working the Zone than answering a Domestic Call.
Matthew July 23, 2014 at 07:28 am
David that stabbing you were reffering to was on Hancock St but in Everett.

Such a shame. So many youngsters trying to get into this country to get away from deplorable livingRead More conditions. What they would give to have the chance that this one and his cronies flushed down the toilet.

What I don't understand is; if they haven't tried the actual (alleged) bomber himself, how can theyRead More convict this guy of colluding with the bomber if we don't (yet) legally know who the bomber is?? I'm no attorney, but seems that there's something wrong here??

Shoplifting cost us all, we pay higher prices for goods because of these idiots. They may not beRead More violent offenders but they should be off the street & this is a good way to find them. I do wish the Patch would proofread its own articles though.

The Mass Most Wanted Website focuses on showcasing criminals at large that were caught on camera orRead More video, making an accurate ID more possible. Most of the criminals featured are shoplifters and bankrobbers because it is rare for someone to get video or photos ofhe person who murdered or raped them.

Another psycho with a gun he shouldn't have. And a dog he should not have had - undoubtedly he knewRead More nothing about dogs or their behavior. Probably was trying to pose the baby with the dog for a cute picture or something. Absolutely no need to shoot the dog! Bring it to someplace who knows animals, who can really determine whether it was aggressive or not. I'm guessing it was not.

whats next if you smell alcohol no sobriety test
Laura Rodriguez July 16, 2014 at 05:46 pm
I agree with this, even with alcohol just because you can smell it you can't tell if a person hasRead More only had one drink or has had several. What if someone had a drink spilled on them at a party? The smell shouldn't be the only proof to justify a search. Under the 4th amendment of the Constitution, we are protected against unlawful search and seizure. With that being said, the police should have more viable proof that a person is under the influence in order to administer a sobriety test.

I remember less than a decade ago, while my car was parked in a parking lot a few hundred yards awayRead More from where I was standing, a marblehead police officer saying he was going to go search my car and if he found even one seed from a marijuana plant he would charge me with a felony.
Mark Simmons July 17, 2014 at 01:24 pm
This problem works BOTH ways. There is a false sense of entitlement that accompanies this crosswalkRead More law. People think that they can walk right into a crosswalk without breaking stride or even looking around. Crosswalks that are equipped with "don't walk" lights are almost completely ignored. The red hand means stop. Perhaps if EVERYONE respected the rules, we'd all be better off. Maybe start handing out some jaywalking tickets? There are written laws for that as well.

You have to realize that alot of these cabs are driven by people from other countries that don'tRead More obey traffic laws and may overcharge! A 911 Bomber drove a cab in Boston. Pepper Spray is illegal, no ?
Jazelle LaMare June 29, 2014 at 12:13 pm
New Hampshire is the only state that supports, personel self-defense. Massachusetts, the policeRead More say, "You're on your own". Calling 911 is as effective as yelling for help! In fact yelling for help might get you a few by-standers to watch and take cell phone movies for latter.

5th OUI offense? Can't something be done about someone who willingly puts people in danger likeRead More this? The man obviously needs help but get him off the streets, permanently.

I have to move out of this State. It's ok for the State police to fish for drunk drivers but not toRead More send illegal aliens back to their third world countries? So tired of the double standard of this State.
GMan Extreme June 26, 2014 at 08:57 pm
Martin, are you insane? You knowingly chose to drink and drive and you're blaming the checkpoint? IRead More hope you really never drive a car again! Cindy, if you really have a problem with the occasional announced checkpoint that will get drunks off the road possibly saving lives, then do leave the state. I have zero tolerance for anyone stupid and irresponsible enough to get behind the wheel while impaired putting others lives in jeopardy. Anyone here who thinks this is ok is obviously also impaired, but on a full-time basis.

If this happened say in Waltham, Watertown, or Brookline or any other Metro West town it would haveRead More plastered all over the morning news. With some kind of comment from a City official. But I guess us people in Malden are supposed to just accept it as routine business for the gangs that we "DON'T" have in Malden. Mr Mayor, step aside and let someone with some balls take over. It's also about time that someone exposes these damn judges at Malden District Court and their ever revolving door for the people that Malden PD and other surrounding police departments arrest. Nobody fears going into this courthouse anymore. "Oh you shot up someone's house? Give me $250 and don't do it again, ok? Your free to go" BS.

had a real estate company visit yesterday. My wife does not feel safe in this neighborhood anymore.Read More She wants to move ASAP. I feel like I am forced to move thanks to the Mayor and Police chief response to this incident. Maybe the MPD should spend less time policing the Orange line stations and let the T police do their work, they could spend more time protecting the neighborhoods from drive by shootings and breakins
david mokal July 2, 2014 at 09:28 pm
T Cops are after the fact cops. Call the donut shop across from Cabot on Dot Ave and you may getRead More help. Actually the MPD does a better job anyway. So the T should pay Malden for their services.

As stated earlier, illegal immigrants are just that - illegal. Yet, Massachusetts turns a blind eyeRead More to it. The mayor of Somerville welcomes them: http://michaelgraham.com/liberal-ma-mayor-to-illegals-ldquo-this-city-belongs-to-you-i-work-for-you-rdquo/ and Mass law states that they receive any and all public entitlement programs that are offered.
