Massimos is incredible. I have held fundraisers here. Max, the owner, is genuine and generous. The portions are enormous. The waitresses are kind. The chef comes out to great you and see if you like your meal. I highly recommend this place. It is fantastic.

A taste of Italy right in your own backyard. Massimo's Ristorante offers authentic Italian food. Massimo, the owner and chef, hails from Genoa, Italy, and cooks both Southern and Northern Italian dishes.
Located in the middle of Malden Center, Massimo's is bigger than it seems from the outside. With plush seating, brick walls, old pictures and Italian music playing in the background, the place makes customers feel right at home. It has a comfortable waiting area and serves lunch Monday to Friday from 11am to 3pm (dinner hours are posted below).
Massimo's can host functions for up to 50 people; it has validated parking at 49 Florence St. if the street or public lot are unavailable.
Massimo's food is prepared to order, so making dishes vegetarian is easy--the marinara sauce is meatless. The restaurant has a full liquor license.

It doesnt deserve a star. This place was terrible. Took my wife and kids for a nice family dinner. The only thing good about the food was that it was cooked, other than that, TERRIBLE. Order some drinks for the family, they came after our food arrived. Appetizer and salad dishes were not cleared from table, then dinner came, and no one was clearing our dishes. Probably the worse dining experience of my life. Hopefully its closed for good now. I'd rather eat Ragu in the gutter than at this place. AVOID THIS RESTAURANT, EVEN IF IT IS THE LAST ONE ON EARTH.
Just put Bragoli on the menue it was awesome tender and they give you alot. I have recomended Massimo's to freinds and relatives and all have come back as regulars.
Massimo's is the best for Italian food. Just like old style Italy very good. Im there twice a week and never had a bad meal allways great!
I ate there once, ordered pasta with Bolognese sauce, the sauce tasted like it came out of a can. My advice: avoid this place.

I have gone to Massimo's a few times and the food has always been delicious. The owner is very friendly too. Nice friendly atmosphere in the restaurant too.
