Dockside Restaurant

781-321-3000

Listing Manager: Lisa Urbaczewski

This sprawling bar and restaurant is hued in deep wood grain, sports posters and gilded hand rails. The bar is set up in the round and on an elevated platform, allowing for uninterrupted views of the sports tuned televisions and the flashing keno screens. Regulars can be found on their stools hunched over domestic bottles and plates of classic American. Families are usually set up in the booths near the windows tucking into burgers. Group events and catering are very popular here and at the other Dockside in Wakefield.

Dining Dad took his son there for some burgers and nachos. Wow was it bad. The burgers were room temperature with no taste and cold buns. The nachos were burnt and the cheese was enough to cover 3 chips. The Newer Medford Street location is far supererb from their older Malden locale. It gets 2 stars because the staff was attentive and felt bad, other than that not good.
