1. The Malden City Council will meet at 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 6 at the Malden Senior Community Center, according to a meeting announcement posted on the city website.
2. Dockside Restaurant at Riverview will be hosting a Dine for Dollars fundraiser to benefit the Medford Rotary Club at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, according to an event posting on Malden Patch.
3. Bingo will be played at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7 at Agudas Achim/Ezrath Israel, according to an event posting on Malden Patch.
4. After taking winter vacation and getting a few extra days off thanks to last week's snowstorm, students of Malden Public Schools return to school on Monday, Jan. 6.
