Dockside Restaurant to Host Fundraiser for Malden Reads

Here is a sampling of five things going on between Monday, Jan. 27 and Sunday, Feb. 2 in Malden:

1. A Malden Reads fundraiser at the Dockside Restaurant at Riverview runs from 2-9 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29, according to an event posting on Malden Patch. Twenty-five percent of the proceeds will benefit Malden Reads' One City, One Book program, according to the posting.

2. The sixth annual "Frank Says Hi" Scholarship Foundation fundraiser kicks off at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31 at the Irish American, according to an event posting on Malden Patch. Tickets cost $20 and can be purchased at the door and includes a buffet dinner, according to the posting. 

3. The Malden City Council meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28 in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, according to an agenda on the city website.

4. The Malden Redevelopment Authority meets at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28 in Room 617 at City Hall, according to an agenda on the city website.

5. The Malden Licensing Board will be meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28 in Room 421 at City Hall, according to an agenda on the city website.
