Malden Native to Volunteer for Habitat for Humanity in New Orleans

Malden native Adelina Keshishian will be volunteering with Habitat for Humanity in New Orleans in the spring.

[Editor's note: The following information derives from a City of Malden press statement.]

Malden native Adelina Keshishian is working toward the "change she wishes to see in the world."

Keshishian recently met with Mayor Gary Christenson not only to discuss her hope to work in public service in her own community, but to also talk about her plans to volunteer for Habitat for Humanity in New Orleans in the spring.

Keshishian is currently pursuing her bachelor's in managerial economics at Bentley University. She has a passion for art, creative writing, sustainability and volunteerism.

Keshishian has chosen to take an alternative spring break this semester where she will travel to New Orleans to help build a home with Habitat for Humanity for a community that was affected by Hurricane Katrina.
