Bread of Life to Move to New Location

Meals will be held in same place, but their food pantry and offices will move to Eastern Ave. Dec. 1

Local food pantry and anti-hunger advocates Bread of Life will be moving their offices this month – and they're asking the public to help with some volunteer hours to facilitate the job.

The group's special project coordinator Gabriella Snyder-Stelmack said space constraints have always been a problem for the group, which has operated out of a building at 511 Main St. for over 15 years.

The group needs volunteers to help clean, paint, work on some carpentry, set up shelving, move furniture and other odd tasks at their new location on 54 Eastern Avenue Rear.

The group hopes to move into their new offices by Dec. 1.

The new location will boast more space for shelves, and more importantly, a waiting area for clients, who are now forced to wait outside for their food.

If you can help, the group requests you contact contact Gabriella at 781-475-9060 or info@thebreadoflifeonline.org.

The group's regular evening meal will still be prepared and served at and Tuesday through Friday evenings, despite the change.
