Malden Catholic Hockey Wins 4th Straight Super 8 Title
The Lancers beat Austin Prep Sunday at TD Garden.
The Malden Catholic boys’ hockey team defeated Austin Prep 5-3 Sunday at TD Garden, taking their fourth straight Super 8 championship, according to Boston.com.
Senior Tyler Sifferlen put the Lancers up 1-0 late in the first, and then teammates Ara Nazarian, Nick Rolli and Matt Filipe all scored within 2:50 of each other in the second to put them up 4-0.
Sifferlen scored again in the third. Alex Reissis had 20 saves between the pipes.
