Sponsored by Malden Youth Soccer in association with Malden Reads, the event will include music and dance performances and exhibition-style soccer games. Kids of all ages are invited to participate in soccer clinics, as well as explore a variety of arts and crafts activities, including: henna tattoos, candy sushi, origami, cultural dances, storytelling, and much more. For adults who want a break from all things soccer, there will be videos, information tables, and an opportunity to record the story of how they came to Malden. Soccer-playing adults or anyone who wants to embarrass themselves or their offspring are invited to participate in the final soccer game of the afternoon. Refreshments will be available for purchase and there will be a raffle, proceeds to benefit Malden Reads.

Malden Reads will be collecting new and slightly used soccer gear and soccer balls for the Peace Passers Organization (for more information, please contact Karen Buck at karen.buck.mt@gmail.com).
