4 Malden Basketball Teams Make Postseason

The Malden High boys’ basketball team earned the No. 15 seed in the North Division 1 bracket with a 10-10 record during the regular season. The team will be at No. 2 Everett (16-4) at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, in the bracket’s first round. The teams split their season series, with Malden winning 59-51 at Everett on Jan. 31 and losing 57-44 at home on Feb. 14.

The Malden Catholic boys’ basketball team got the No. 17 seed in the North Division 2 bracket with a 10-10 record. The team will be at No. 16 Burlington (11-9) at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 21, in the bracket’s preliminary round.

Mystic Valley’s boys’ basketball team is the No. 7 seed in the North Division 4 bracket with a 13-7 record. The team will host No. 10 Bishop Fenwick (10-10) at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, in the bracket’s first round.

Mystic Valley’s girls’ basketball team is the No. 4 seed in the North Division 4 bracket with a 15-5 record. The team will host No. 13 North Shore Tech  (10-9) at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, in the bracket’s first round.
