Teens: Apply for City Summer Jobs Now

City hall is starting its application process for a popular summer program employing hundreds of teens. Submissions are due by April 12 at 11:30 a.m.

Teens: think you'll need a job this summer?

National unemployment among 16-19 year olds has hovered in the 23-25 percent range for years - and those numbers only get worse when adjusted for certain demographics, like race and class

In response to dwindling opportunities, the city radically expanded it's teen summer employment program last year, giving jobs to 335 Malden teenagers.
