Contractors are chipping away at paint and preparing other renovations to bring the city's new teen enrichment center to life next month, thanks to the work of volunteers and political support from the mayor's office.

Mayor Gary Christenson signed a .

While the city will pay for rent and staffing costs, money for activities will be raised by a 501(c)3 non-profit organization affiliated with the center.

I bet someone is shot at/near/or was at this center within 3 months. Time to expand the jails, bull doze the houses of offenders, ect. If someone or someone who lives in a house in this city is involved in crime, turn their property into an empty lot. It isn't as bad as it will get, soon there will be open gun fights, drive bys all over. Every night there is something violent and it keeps growing. I heard the police could not respond the other day because there were too many calls. If these were sophisticated people, they could set up several diversions and stretch the short staffed police all over, then hit a softened target. Scary, but these are not smart criminals, just desparate.

Yeah that's realistic.

I also love the idea parent of 2 teenagers 17 and 14 they need too keep a watchful eye on who comes and goes this plan could be disastrous if they dont have security in check!
