The preliminary election is set for Tuesday, Sept. 17, according to information provided by Carol Ann Desiderio, assistant registrar of voters for the city.
The preliminary election helps to narrow the field for each race to two candidates.
On election day polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.Who's Running?
Four candidates are vying for a two-year seat as a Ward 8 City Councillor, including:
