Mass. Senior Action Council, MATV to Co-Host Candidates Forum

The Massachusetts Senior Action Council and Malden Access Television (MATV) are teaming up to co-host a councillor-at-large candidates forum Thursday night at the Malden Senior Community Center.

The forum, slated for 7 p.m. Oct. 24, will feature seven candidates vying for three councillor-at-large seats on the Malden City Council.

"The event will feature questions from Mass Senior Action's diverse membership in the Malden area, which should illuminate the candidates' stance on important issues and goals if elected," said Mike McCollum, communications coordinator for the Massachusetts Senior Action Council, in an email to Malden Patch.

MATV will be broadcasting the forum.

The Massachusetts Senior Action Council is a democratic, grassroots, senior-run organization, committed to empowering seniors and others statewide in Massachusetts to act collectively to promote the rights and well-being of all people, particularly vulnerable seniors, according to McCollum.
