Malden Moves Forward with Bike to Sea Trail
New pavement to improve your ride should complete sometime this fall, organizers said.
Bikers, get excited - 4 miles of newly paved roads on the Malden section of the "Bike to the Sea" trail will likely finish by early fall, according to organizers.
For the first time this year, cyclists were able to travel to the coast from Malden during the 21st annual "Bike to the Sea Ride."
Activists have also established a community garden on the side of the trail near Faulkner Street, thanks to a $15,000 grant from the Keurig Company.
When complete, the long-term projects aims to connect multiple cities via bike path, including a route to New Hampshire.
