Retired Malden Officer Apologizes for Obama Facebook Threat

Find out what has happened since a Malden police officer made the remarks about the president on Facebook.

A retired Malden police officer recently apologized for a Facebook post that included a racial slur and suggested shooting President Barack Obama, according to a CBS/Associated Press report posted on the CBS Boston website.

David Marsters, of Sabattus, Maine, claimed that the Secret Service has been to his home and that he has received multiple death threats since a Maine newspaper first reported about the Facebook posting, according to the report.

“I made a mistake,” Marsters told WBZ NewsRadio 1030 Wednesday in the report. “I said a stupid thing and I apologize for it.”
