Somerville Man Pleads Guilty to Filming Women in YMCA Locker Room: Ryan Perez, 25, of Somerville, was arrested in November of 2011 and charged with taking videos of women in the locker room of the YMCA. Today, Perez pleaded guilty, according to an announcement from the Middlesex District Attorney's office.

Report: Man Brandishes Sword at Car Wash to Cut in Line: A Somerville man who wanted to wash his pickup truck pulled a sword on other customers at a car wash, according allegations in a Somerville Police report. Police arrested 38-year-old Raul Parra, of 137 Pearl St., in connection to the incident, according to the report. 

Tow Truck Driver Arrested for OUI: At 1:26 a.m., Charles Edward Slocomb, 28, of 91R Winn St., was arrested and charged with operating while under the influence of liquor, a marked lanes violation and leaving the scene of a property damage accident. According to police, a parked car was struck on Lexington Street and pushed about 120 feet down the road. At that time, police were called to Murray’s Towing for a report of an accident involving the on-call driver, Slocomb, on Winn Street. When police spoke to Slocomb, he told officers he could not remember what he had hit, but he did “crash the truck.” Police reported Slocomb failed field sobriety tests and later failed a Breathalyzer.
