Melrose Man Arrested Twice on the Same Day in Malden

At 1:46 a.m. Sept. 27, Malden Police responded to the 7-Eleven on Salem Street for a trespassing-related call. Brian Coleman, of 18 Governors Ave., Melrose, was arrested and charged with trespassing. Later that same day at 6:17 p.m., Coleman was arrested again and charged with open and gross lewdness following a report of an intoxicated person in the area of Charles and Russell Streets.

Oct. 2

4:26 p.m.: Police responded to Charles Street on a report of shoplifting. Lee Ann Prior, of 100 Fulton St., Medford, was arrested and charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise.

6:33 p.m.: Police were called to Evelyn Avenue on a report of possible breaking and entering in progress. Thomas Waite, of 13 Evelyn Ave., Malden, was arrested and charged with attempting to commit a crime.

7:42 p.m.: Police responded to the Stop & Shop Supermarket on Charles Street on a report of shoplifting. Rebecca Cerullo, of 46 Lowell Ave., Newtonville, was arrested and charged with shoplifting by asportation 

11:12 p.m.: Police were called to Webster Street on a report of a disturbance. Jose Montes, of 70 Myrtle St., Lynn, was arrested and charged with assault and battery.

Oct. 1

4:31 p.m.: Leslie Ferreira, of 520 Main St., Malden, was arrested on a warrant on Summer Street.

6:09 p.m.: Police conducted a general investigation on Clark Street. Alejandro Parra, of 56 Clark St., Malden, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.

11:04 p.m.: Police made a motor vehicle stop in the area of Commercial and Pleasant Streets. Karissa Anderson, of 33 Maple St., Malden, was arrested.

Sept. 30

7:01 p.m.: Police responded to Lisbon Street on a report of a fight. Robert Desimone, of 109 Oliver St., Malden, was arrested and charged with two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

9:42 p.m.: Police were called to Plainfield Avenue on a report of a domestic assault and battery in progress. Nurhusen Mekonen, of 95 Plainfield Ave., Malden, was arrested and charged with assault and battery.

No arrests reported.

Sept. 28

12:49 a.m.: Police were called to West Street for a report of a disturbance. Hang Xiao, of 122 West St., Malden, was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.

Sept. 27

8:51 p.m.: Police responded to the Malden Center MBTA Station on Commercial Street to provide public assistance. Guerlaine St. Louis, of 200 Sammett St., Malden, was arrested.

Sept. 26

5:47 p.m.: Police responded to Bryant Street following a report of a 911 wrong number call. Mariana Negron, of 265 Bryant St., Malden, was arrested.

Sept. 25

2:04 a.m.: Police responded to Overlook Ridge Drive to restore public peace. Kevin Li, of 10 Overlook Dr., Malden, was arrested and charged with assault and battery.

Sept. 24

12:35 a.m.: Police responded to Medford Street for a report of a disturbance. Ivan Genchev, of 109 Medford St., Malden, was arrested and charged with assault and battery.

2:07 p.m.: Police conducted a general investigation in the area of Centre and Middlesex Streets. Tremayne Perry, of 49 Ashland St., Lynn, was arrested and charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise.

2:20 p.m.: Police responded to Webber Street and arrested Reinaldo Gallego-Echeverria, of 39R Webber St., Malden, on a warrant.

Sept. 23
1:20 p.m.: Police conducted a directed patrol in the area of Malden Center MBTA Station on Commercial Street. Dawn Adams, of 63 Main St., Saugus, was arrested.
2:01 p.m.: Police made a motor vehicle stop. Sam Tom, of 531 Revere St., Revere, was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle with a suspended license, number plate violation and not having an inspection sticker.
