MBTA Transit Police are looking for help finding a man allegedly involved in a theft at the Malden Center Station on Monday, Jan. 13.

MBTA Transit Police are looking for help finding a man allegedly involved in a theft at the Malden Center Station on Monday, Jan. 13 according to the TPD news blog.

About 1:15 p.m., a man entered the Malden Center MBTA customer service agent's booth and stole the employee's backpack, according to the blog.

The suspect is described as being an Hispanic man, with a medium build and black hair, wearing a brown knit cap, long winter coat over a brown hooded sweatshirt, black jeans and black sneakers with white soles, according to the blog.

Anyone with information related to the case can call the MBTA Transit Police's Criminal Investigations Unit at 617-222-1050, or by texting a tip anonymously to 873873 or by using the SeeSay app.
