This week I will be working closely with the Police Chief and his team along with members of the City Council to see what new initiatives can be put in place that will further address these acts of violence. My goal is to announce these ideas at the August 27th Public Safety Awareness meeting outdoors at on Cross Street from 6-8 pm.

My hope is also to have Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone at the meeting to update us on the status of the investigations.

Once again, I want to thank the Malden Police for giving it their all in working to solve these crimes.

Gary Christenson,
Mayor
