Man Caught on Tape Stealing Prom Dress from Malden Boutique
Police believe the man is from Marshfield.
A man was caught on surveillance footage stealing a $500 gold prom dress, mannequin and all, from Precious Memories Bridal, according to a 7 News report.
Police believe the man is from Marshfield, as the owner of the shop was able to get the license plate on his blue Mercury Sable before he sped away.
Police said the man came to the store, at 1256 Eastern Ave., after it was closed, but the owner let him in, according to the report. When she turned around, he grabbed the mannequin and ran.
