Matthew, given how abundantly clear it is that the software is glitchy and Patch can't be bothered to fix it, I don't understand why you constantly claim "censorship," which supposes that anyone is paying any attention at all to moderating the comments on this website. That's quite a delusion of significance you've got.

still nothing from the city to the homeowners of this neighborhood, this is just another normal day in Malden, why should we address the concerns of the people that live in this neighborhood. a drive by shooting with 6 shots into a house in the middle of the night should be something the city should address and talk to us about. instead nothing but silence and heads in the sand about gangs. un effen believable, is this the new normal for my neigborhood.

If this happened say in Waltham, Watertown, or Brookline or any other Metro West town it would have plastered all over the morning news. With some kind of comment from a City official. But I guess us people in Malden are supposed to just accept it as routine business for the gangs that we "DON'T" have in Malden. Mr Mayor, step aside and let someone with some balls take over. It's also about time that someone exposes these damn judges at Malden District Court and their ever revolving door for the people that Malden PD and other surrounding police departments arrest. Nobody fears going into this courthouse anymore. "Oh you shot up someone's house? Give me $250 and don't do it again, ok? Your free to go" BS.

had a real estate company visit yesterday. My wife does not feel safe in this neighborhood anymore. She wants to move ASAP. I feel like I am forced to move thanks to the Mayor and Police chief response to this incident. Maybe the MPD should spend less time policing the Orange line stations and let the T police do their work, they could spend more time protecting the neighborhoods from drive by shootings and breakins

T Cops are after the fact cops. Call the donut shop across from Cabot on Dot Ave and you may get help. Actually the MPD does a better job anyway. So the T should pay Malden for their services.
