Malden Man Pleads Guilty to Prostituting 15-Year-Old Girl
The man allegedly advertised the girl on the Internet and then prostituted her at area hotels and a Malden residence.
A 25-year-old Malden man pleaded guilty Wednesday to causing a minor to engage in prostitution, according to U.S. Attorney Carmen Ortiz’ office.
David Minasian and his accomplices allegedly advertised a 15-year-old girl on the prostitution website Backpage.com and then prostituted her at area hotels and a Malden residence.
Authorities executed a search warrant at Minasian’s home in 2012 and indicted him in 2013.

Miniasian is scheduled to be sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge William G. Young on Oct. 9, 2014. Due to his plea agreement, Minasian faces a stence between 13-15 years in prison, five years of supervised release, a $250,000 fine and $4,000 in restitution.
