A 24-year-old Malden man was kidnapped from his residence Thursday, March 20, and taken to Quincy, where police later found him unharmed.

A Malden woman called police that day to report that a woman had just forced her son into a van, with others inside as well, and fled the area. The act was not random, according to police.

The mother later began receiving ransom messages and calls demanding money to be wired through Western Union, police said.

Malden detectives were able to locate the victim at a Quincy apartment, and, with help from Quincy police, recovered him unharmed.

Denisha Sequeira, 24, of Harrison Ave., Boston, was arrested and charged with kidnapping and extortion. She has been arraigned in Malden District Court.

You can tell by the cocky look on her face she knows it's a waste of the police's time going to Malden Court, because she knows it will only be a metter of a few hours before she's walking the streets.
