Malden Man Allegedly Assaults Orange Line Train with Brick

The man was arrested Sunday afternoon.

A 46-year-old Malden man allegedly slammed a brick into an Orange Line train car Sunday afternoon at the MBTA’s Community College Station in Charlestown.

Stephen Fusco was arrested at about 3:30 p.m. by MBTA Transit Police and charged with malicious destruction of property. Fusco also had a warrant out of Boston Municipal Court for threats to commit a crime, police said.

Fusco allegedly shattered three of the train car’s windows and two doors. As a result, the train had to be removed from service, according to police.
