Level 3 Sex Offender Arrested for Allegedly Evading Registration

Vincent Pellino of Saugus was reportedly living on Eastern Ave. near a day care center, not in Saugus with his mother as he told authorities. He was convicted of abusing a child in 2004.

A Saugus man is under arrest and facing arraignment in Malden District Court today, after authorities allege he misreported his residence in the sex offender registry.

Vincent Pellino, of Saugus, was convicted of abusing a child in 2004. He allegedly told authorities he was living in that city with his mother, but was found residing on Eastern Ave. in Malden Thursday.

Lt. Det. Marc Gatcomb of the Malden Police Department said there was no evidence that Pellino had any interactions with student or staff at the nearby daycare center.
