Five Months in, No Arrests in Fatal Shooting

Patriot Skateboards owner Shawn Clark was murdered in front of his store in late January, though no arrests have yet been made in the case.

It's been five months since the fatal shooting of a store-owner outside of his Main Street skateboard shop, and authorities are again asking the public for their help in identifying two men caught on tape in the attack.

Shawn Clark, the owner of Patriot Skateboards, was found fatally wounded in front of the store on January 29 after an apparent confrontation with two unidentified men.

Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Malden Police Chief Kevin Molis re-distributed footage recovered from the store's surveillance cameras in a statement to the press.

"Malden Police and Massachusetts State Police assigned to the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office Detectives Unit have devoted many resources and hours to investigating the circumstances of Clark’s death," the accompanying statement read.

"Authorities have made some progress, but no one has been charged in connection with the incident at this time."

The statement asks viewers' "attention be drawn, in particular, to the facial and bodily appearances of the suspects, their gait and...clothing."

The video shows two males in dark clothing, with one seen holding a handgun.

Readers with information for investigators can contact Massachusetts State Police at (781) 897-6600 or Malden Police at (781) 397-7171.
