Baby Taken By Intoxicated Man Safe After Morning Police Pursuit
Malden Police were in hot pursuit of an intoxicated man who stole an 18-month old baby on foot early Thursday morning. They apprehended the suspect less than half an hour later.
Malden Police were in pursuit of an intoxicated male suspect who allegedly took a child near Salem St. around 1:45 a.m. Thursday morning, later confirming over police radio that the child was safe around 2:13 a.m.
The man was described as a white male, wearing blue jeans and sneakers, with an 18-month-old baby.
K-9 units from other cities were called in to assist with the search.
