ACCUSED TO DISPATCHER: "I Killed My Wife"

Multiple sources report a man was arrested after police say he murdered his wife in their Francis St. home.

4th Update: Channel 5 is reporting further evidence of confessional statements allegedly made by Moseley, and notes that, while Moseley referred to Yakubu as his wife, they have yet to officially confirm their marital status. 

3rd Update: CBS News is reporting Cecila Yakubu, 57, was the name of the victim.

They add that Moseley was once charged with punching Yakubu in the face during an argument earlier this year, though those charges were dropped.

He was also convicted of shooting his ex-wife in the face in 1996.

2nd Update: Numerous news organizations on social media are reporting that Moseley has been held without bail, and allegedly told a 911 dispatcher "I killed my wife. She's dead. I strangled her."

A cord was reportedly found around the victim's neck. 

The judge reportedly cited Moseley's violent record for denying him bail. CBS News reports Moseley has served time for armed assault with a gun, mayhem, and assault and battery.

Update: We have received this statement from District Attorney Gerry Leone's office: "At approximately 5:30 a.m. this morning, Malden Police received a 911 call reporting a death at 33 Francis Street in Malden. When officers responded, police located the female victim, obviously deceased. The victim’s name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

William Bryant Moseley, 45, was at the scene and was subsequently arrested for allegedly strangling the victim to death.  

The defendant will be arraigned later this morning in Malden District Court."

Original story: A Malden man is accused of murdering his wife inside of their Francis St. home early Friday morning, according to multiple news sources.

According to the Boston Globe and Fox 25, William Bryant Moseley, 45, is expected to be arraigned on murder charges later today.
