Body Found Near Malden Catholic Ball Field

A man was found dead by the ball field near Malden Catholic High School over the weekend, according to police.

At 6:45 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29, emergency crews responded to the ball field area for a report of a loss of life, according to Police Chief Kevin Molis. Officers found a man in his 30s deceased, he added.

"The circumstances (of the death) are not being investigated as being criminal in nature," Molis said, adding that there is no cause for alarm for those living in the neighborhood.
