Body Cavity Search Yields Crack Cocaine, Heroin
A 30-year-old Lynn man was charged with trafficking in cocaine as a result of the search.
Malden police allegedly found more than 28 grams of crack cocaine and 3 ounces of heroin inside a 30-year-old Lynn man during a body cavity search.
As a result of the search on Tuesday, March 4, Jeffrey Alicea, of 26 Chase St., was charged with trafficking in cocaine, possession with intent to distribute a Class A substance, a drug violation near a school, failure to stop for a police officer and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
Undercover Malden drug detectives spotted Alicea, a known drug dealer, during an operation in Malden Center at about 6 p.m. that Tuesday, according to police. Alicea attempted to flee the scene in a PT Cruiser but had a minor crash on Route 60 and was apprehended, police said.

Police got a search warrant for the body cavity search, which was conducted at a local hospital, after their investigation revealed that Alicea was possibly hiding drugs in his body.
Alicea’s passenger, 25-year-old Kara Sullivan, of 51 First St., Malden, had four warrants out for her arrests, according to police. The warrants carried the following charges: possession of a Class A substance, unnatural acts, larceny over $250 and failure to appear.

Both have been arraigned in Malden District Court.
