A Decade of Crime in Malden: 44 Suspects Make Mass Most Wanted List

Find out how many of the suspects wanted in connection to crimes committed over the past decade in Malden remain at-large.

After reviewing crimes committed in Malden for more than a decade, 44 suspects are currently listed on the Mass Most Wanted website.

Of the 44 suspects listed, 29 remain at-large, while 13 have been captured and two identified, according to the website. 

The dozens of crimes in Malden were committed between 2002 and 2013, according to the site. During that time period, 2003 yielded the most suspects wanted in the city with eight.

Here is a breakdown of the Mass Most Wanted crimes committed per year in Malden:

  • 2003: 8
  • 2004: 4
  • 2005: 6
  • 2006: 2
  • 2007: 2
  • 2008: 2
  • 2009: 3
  • 2010: 3
  • 2011: 3
  • 2012: 4
  • 2013: 3

The types of crimes committed in Malden from 2002-2013 included:
  • 29 Bank robberies
  • 12 Thefts
  • Three robberies

The most recent Malden crime featured on Mass Most Wanted happened on July 13 this year, according to the website. A woman of medium height, with a small build and light complexion, wearing a pink hooded sweatshirt allegedly used a stolen credit card at a local convenience store, the site adds.

"We are attempting to ID this female who used a stolen credit card at the 7-11 on Salem (Street) early Sunday morning," reads the case details posted next to the suspect's photo on the Mass Most Wanted site. "The victim was attacked on Main (Street) (during an unarmed robbery) by a male suspect and purse taken. The victim's card was (allegedly) used by this female a short time later."
