Robert Ahern, of 110 Broadway St., Malden, was arrested at 11:36 a.m. Saturday at Stop & Shop, 99 Charles St., and charged with shoplifting by asportation.

Friday, May 9

Rigoberto Ramirez, of 23 Eleanor St., Chelsea, was arrested at 7:22 p.m. and Eastern Avenue and Ferry Street and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and receiving stolen property over $250.

Namit Thapa, of 63 Converse Ave., Malden, was arrested at 5:21 a.m. Friday at 63 Converse Ave. and charged with arson of a dwelling/house and disorderly conduct.

Wednesday, May 7

James Ryan, of 6:20 Main St., Malden, was arrested at 3:14 p.m. Wednesday at 620 Main St. and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery.

Tuesday, May 6

Louis Valentino, of 4 Maurice St., Malden, was arrested at 8:17 p.m. Tuesday at 4 Maurice St. and charged with domestic assault and battery.

Karen Nash, of 3 Alcott Park, Malden, was arrested at 3:51 p.m. Tuesday at Stop & Shop, 99 Charles St., and charged with domestic assault and battery.

Monday, May 5

Jonathan Pereira, of 23 Castle Circle, Peabody, was arrested at 5:49 p.m. Monday at 205 Ferry St. and charged with operation of a motor vehicle with license suspended and failure to stop/yield.

Urbano Meola, of 51 Ambrose St., Revere, was arrested at 10:48 a.m. at Fellsway E and Pleasant Street and charged with operation of a motor vehicle with license suspended (subsequent offense).
