Bring an Umbrella, Kids Halloween Crafts and a Beebe School Morning Meeting

5 things you need to know today, Wednesday, Oct. 19

1. Brrr: Hope you like your Wednesdays on the rocks – the day will start cloudy, with a 90 percent chance of rain and highs in the mid-50s. That temperature will remain consistent into the evening.

2. Title 1 workshop at Beebe School: will hold Wednesday to discuss ways parents can support their children at home. Today's topic is “Beyond Praise: Building Character and Increasing Resiliency.”

3. ESL Class: A will be held from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Malden Public Library. The event, held weekly, helps beginning speakers practice their skills and learn new words.
