Marcella M. (Moscone) Goggin, a longtime resident of Malden, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 13, 2014. She was 90.
Marcella was the beloved mother of Ann Scozzari of Chelmsford and her late husband Roy, Susan Shaw and her companion Ray Mahoney of Malden, Marcella Todd and her husband Guillermo of Florida and Kevin Goggin of Malden. She was the dear sister of Corrine DiLuigi of Revere. Marcella was the loving grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Sacred hearts Church, 297 Main St., Malden, on Thursday, March 20, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main St., Malden, on Wednesday, March 19, from 4-8 p.m. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Marcella’s memory may be made to American Lung Assoc. 460 Totten Pond Road, #400, Waltham, MA 02451.
