Obituary: Frank Cuscianotta, 102, Lived in Malden for 80 Years

Cuscianotta died Thursday, Feb. 13.

Frank Cuscianotta passed away at the Lifecare Center in Stoneham on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014. He was 102.

Born and raised in East Boston, Frank was a resident of Malden for 80 years. He worked for John Hancock Insurance Company for many years. Frank was a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army having served during World War II and the Korean Conflict.

Frank was the devoted husband of 75 years to the late Catherine (Teta) Cuscianotta. He was the beloved father of Peter Cucinotta and his wife Lois of Malden and the late Christine Stevens. Frank was the brother of the late Antonio Cucinotta. He was the cherished grandfather of eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and six great great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main St., Malden, on Tuesday, Feb. 18, at 9 a.m. followed by a mass of Christian burial in St. Joseph’s Church, 770 Salem St., Malden, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Monday, Feb. 17, from 3-7 p.m. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Frank’s memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
