Obituary for Maldonian Neal Wharf

Neal A. Wharf, 78, of Malden, died Jan. 2 at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, according to an obituary on the A.J. Spadafora Funeral Home website.

Wharf, a former resident of Stoneham and Hampton, N.H., served as a janitor at Winchester High School, Boston Gas Company and also was a self-employed plumber.

Visiting hours are set for 4-8 p.m. Tues., Jan. 7, and Interment Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.

Wharf's funeral is set for 8 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8 at A.J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main St., Malden, followed by a 9 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph’s Church, 790 Salem St., Malden.
